Sazgar Engineering, a local car assembler, has launched the ORA 03 electric car in Pakistan. The ORA 03 is a product of the Chinese company Great Wall Motor and offers a range of features and specifications.
Battery Specs and Power
The ORA 03 is a compact sedan with a retro design and a futuristic electric powertrain. The car has a lithium iron phosphate 47.78 kWh battery that can deliver a range of 310-400 kilometers per charge. This Car is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor that produces 140 Hp and 219 Nm of torque. The car can reach a top speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
Exterior & Interior
The car also boasts some exterior and interior features, such as LED headlamps, panoramic sunroof, leatherette seats, wireless charging, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, front and rear collision warning, and airbags.
The price of the new ORA 03 electric car is Rs. 8,999,999. According to Sazgar Engineering, the booking for the car will open in the next few days, with a booking price ranging between Rs. 3-5 million. The expected delivery time is around 3-4 months.
The ORA 03 is the first electric car by Sazgar Engineering, which is also selling locally assembled cars of various Chinese companies, such as BAIC BJ40 Plus, Haval H6/H6 HEV, and Haval Jolion. Sazgar Engineering was one of the pioneers in launching a locally assembled hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) in Pakistan.
ORA 03’s launch marks a significant milestone in Pakistan’s rapidly growing electric vehicle market. The government has announced various incentives and policies to promote the adoption of electric vehicles, such as tax exemptions, lower import duties, and charging infrastructure development.
