Xiaomi 14 Global Launch

Xiaomi 14 Global Launch: Xiaomi, the innovative tech giant, has officially launched its highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra smartphones on the global stage. Building upon the success of their Chinese counterparts, these devices come with minor tweaks catering to the global audience.

The Xiaomi 14 series has been making waves in the smartphone market, promising top-tier performance, sleek design, and cutting-edge features. With the global launch, Xiaomi aims to expand its reach and offer the same exceptional experience to users worldwide.

Xiaomi 14

Let’s summarize the specifications of Xiaomi 14. It comes with a 6.36-inch LTPO OLED display that can reach up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. This high-resolution panel has a resolution of 1200p and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

The rear camera has been completely updated with three 50MP lenses. The main camera features a larger 1/1.31-inch sensor with a brighter f/1.6 aperture and dual-pixel PDAF technology. The telephoto lens provides 3.2x 75mm equivalent magnification, and the third lens provides an ultra-wide perspective.

In addition to these camera improvements, the Xiaomi 14 comes with a slightly larger 4,610 mAh battery. Notably, it supports faster 90W wired charging, as well as 50W sequential wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging capabilities. This device is available in Black, White, and Jade Green with a starting price of €1,000 in Europe.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra

Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi 14 Ultra exclusively in China. This new model retains the 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display of the previous model but delivers a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits. The screen is protected by a dedicated Xiaomi Shield glass protector.

The 50 MP main camera has been significantly improved, with a variable aperture that reaches a brighter f/1.6, and everything in between can be adjusted steplessly.

Additionally, it has a new 1-inch sensor. The previous model retains the 5x periscope telephoto lens, 3.2x telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle lens, utilizing a 50MP Sony IMX858 sensor.

Surprisingly, in Europe, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has the same 5,000 mAh battery as its predecessor, but it is slightly smaller than the 5,300 mAh version available in China. It also still supports 90W fast wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The device comes pre-installed with HyperOS based on Android 14. The device, priced at €1,500, comes in black or white, offering 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage options.

The Xiaomi 14 Global Launch marks a new era, aiming to captivate global consumers, signifying Xiaomi’s evolution and expansion. With minor adjustments tailored to the global market, these devices promise to set new standards for smartphone excellence.
