Diesel Price Reduced by Rs 3
In a significant development, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been reduced by Rs 3 per liter, bringing it down from Rs 272.99 to Rs 269.99 per liter. Kerosene and Light Diesel Oil Also Slashed
The government has also provided relief in other petroleum categories:
- Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) has been cut by Rs 1.46 per liter, now priced at Rs 176.81 per liter.
- Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has been slashed by Rs 2.40 per liter, bringing the new rate to Rs 159.76 per liter.
These cuts are expected to support low-income households and industries that rely on these fuels for daily operations.

This is not the first time diesel has seen a cut in recent weeks. In the last review, diesel was reduced by Rs 12.84 per liter, while petrol prices remained unchanged once again.
