This feature, currently available in beta version 2.25.12.25, allows users to translate messages directly within the app without relying on external services.

The new translation tool supports Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese (Brazil), Hindi, and Russian. Users can download specific language packs, enabling the app to perform translations on-device. This approach ensures that translations are available even without an internet connection, maintaining the app’s commitment to user privacy.
User-Friendly Implementation
Users can activate the translation toggle found under the chat info screen on a per-chat basis to utilize the feature. This includes both private and group chats. Additionally, users can manually translate messages by long-pressing a message and selecting the “Translate” option.
