Sindh Student Internships: The interim Sindh government has launched a paid internship program for 200 students from public sector universities. The program aims to provide learning opportunities in law and social sciences and foster human rights awareness.
The program is spearheaded by the provincial human rights department, which is headed by caretaker law minister barrister Omer Soomro. He said that the program would target students studying law and social sciences, fostering a deeper understanding of these disciplines.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the program, students must be enrolled in public sector universities in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Larkana, Sukkur, and Shaheed Benazirabad divisions. They must also have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 and a strong interest in human rights issues.
The application process for the program is simple and online. Students need to fill out an online form and upload their academic transcripts, CVs, and personal statements. The deadline for applications is September 30, 2023.
The selection criteria for the program are based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, and personal statement. The personal statement should reflect the student’s motivation, goals, and expectations from the program. The selected students will be notified by email and phone.
