The fully funded MEXT scholarship, supported by Japan’s government, covers students’ entrance exams, matriculation, and university tuition fees comprehensively. It also includes flights to and from Japan and provides a monthly allowance of between JPY143,000 and JPY145,000. The last date to apply for the undergraduate scholarship is 31st May 2024, and for the research scholarship (Masters, PhD), it’s 10th May 2024.
Applicants are required to submit several documents, including the application form, academic transcripts, certificates of graduation, and a recommendation letter from either a class teacher or principal of the last school attended. It’s important to note that only complete applications will be considered for the scholarship.
