WhatsApp Colorful Chat Bubbles: WhatsApp, one of the world’s most popular messaging apps, is set to introduce a new feature that will allow users to customize the color of their chat bubbles. This feature, which WhatsApp is currently testing, appeared in one of the latest beta versions.
The new feature will be located under the chat themes section, where users will be able to choose from a variety of default chat theme colors. The default colors will be accompanied by a blue color, a black and white option, as well as a magenta and purple color for outgoing messages. The background colors will change accordingly to match the chosen chat bubble color.
This update is a significant step towards enhancing the personalization and user experience on WhatsApp. It allows users to tailor the look and feel of their chats to their personal preferences.
In addition to the chat bubble color change, WhatsApp is also working on another design update that will make it easier for users to reply to pictures and videos within the app. WhatsApp has redesigned media replies by adding prominent buttons at the bottom of the screen for typing a reply or simply reacting with an emoji.
These updates are part of WhatsApp’s ongoing efforts to catch up with other messaging apps like Telegram, which already offer a wide range of customization options. As quoted from the source, “WhatsApp has been playing catch up with the likes of Telegram in terms of features. Finally, WhatsApp is working towards adding options for different chat bubble colors, removing the limitation of users having to stick with the default options.
