The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons are Caribbean Premier League champions. They beat the Jamaica Kingsmen by eight wickets in the final at Kensington Oval, Barbados, to win their first CPL title.
Pakistani players shaped the night. Maaz Sadaqat hit a record-breaking century in defeat, Sufiyan Muqeem took 4-14 and won player of the match, and Shadab Khan was named player of the tournament.

The Kingsmen batted first and finished on 170-9. Maaz Sadaqat scored 114 and carried almost the entire innings.
He started with a six off the very first ball, from Jayden Seales. He reached fifty in the tenth over and his hundred in 49 balls, with two sixes and a single.
The Kingsmen were 100-2 and looked set for a big total. Then Sufiyan Muqeem broke the innings open.
The Falcons chased down 171 with ease and finished on 173-2.

The collapse. Sufiyan dismissed Saim Ayub, who made 29 off 22 balls. Hassan Nawaz took the catch, so it was an all-Pakistan wicket. Sufiyan then removed captain Rovman Powell in the same over.

Records Set in the CPL 2026 Final
Both major records in this final came from Pakistani players. Maaz is the first batter to score a century in a CPL final. He is also the first Pakistani to score a hundred in the final of any T20 league worldwide.

Sufiyan’s 4-14 are the best bowling figures in a CPL final. The Kingsmen’s total was also always going to be hard to defend at Kensington Oval, where the chasing side had won seven of the last 10 games.
Shadab Khan’s Tournament
Shadab missed the first three matches but still took the player of the tournament award. He scored 132 runs in eight matches at an average of 66 and a strike rate of 228. He also took 11 wickets, including a hat-trick, at an economy rate under five.
After the final, Shadab said a free mindset drove his batting success. He said he had struggled for a couple of years, and that a surgery last year kept him out for six to eight months.
